PROJECT AND SITE MANAGER OF NEW BUILDINGS AND REFURBISHMENT OF BUILDINGS ALLOCATED TO OFFICE USE

Claudio Galliano is born in Milano on November 1957. Since his youth, he shows a particular attitude towards the art and especially the design. He spend his days designing and showing a poor interest for the games that were common among his coetaneous. He acknowledges his first principles of design thanks to the owner of a paint shop where he spends most of his spare time. He is fashinated by colours and paintings. At the end of the secondary school, he decides to study at the School of the Arts applied to Industry of Il Castello Sforzesco of Milano; then he continues with a Course of Illustration taught by Ezio Colombo, who has been his first real guide towards the world of the jobs connected to the design. This School offers him the possibility to work as Graphic Designer in an important advertising agency of Milano. He decides to attend the evening session of the High School of Art acquiring new techniques of design, sculpture and the first rudiments of architecture with the Prof. Livio Buttafava. After the Diploma of Art got in 1976, he enrolls at the Politecnico of Milano. The job, that he has never left, allows him to pay the university. Suddenly he shows a significant attitude toward the structural engineering. For this reason, he will assist his professor Ing. Fabrizio De Miranda with whom he will have a long and profitable period of professional collaboration as technrical designer in the professor’s office. After the degree, got in 1984, he is busy, at the University, as Assistant in the course of mathematical Analysis. After this short experience, he decides to leave the university, and start the adventure of the Freelance. He collaborates with the Studio of Architect Dante Benini, where, at the age of 29, he becomes Project Manager for the creation of a biotechnology research center in Amsterdam. This role launches him definitely towards the career of Project and Site Management of new buildings and refurbishment of buildings allocated to Offices and Residential tenant unit together with Arch. Andrea Tagliapietra with whom, he still continue his professional path.
